As a search engine optimization specialist I have to be able to back up my claim to fame so to speak. Anyone can claim they are an SEO specialist, but can they prove it. I am able to put my cards on the table for all to see. I first started working in SEO a few years back. I worked with the Zazanetwork of websites and was able to improve there Zazachat website to the top five in Google and the other major search engines. I then worked with an individual with a Ph.D in computer Science as head of SEO for her company. I also worked as an independent contractor on a number of Web projects, and was able to get 85% of the search terms on the first page of the major search engines. I also created my own website, OptimizeThroughDesign.com which is found at the top of the major search engine results for the keywords: Philadelphia SEO, Philadelphia SEO Company, Philadelphia SEO Services, and Philadelphia Search Engine Optimization. If you want first page search engine ranking, I can help you. My rates are reasonable and I provide individual one on one service. I Guarantee you will be satisfied.

A good idea for most small businesses is to target the local market rather than the general market. People like to deal with businesses that are in their geographic areas. It is easier and more comfortable to know that if there is a problem the retailer or service is within reach. It is also beter for search engine optimization purposes at it is easier to target local keeywords, than the entire Web where your competing with millions of other websites for general search terms. Think of it like this - “Web Designer” vs. “Philadelphia Web Designer”. We recommend to most of our clients that it is generaly better to target your local market than the national or international market. It primarily depends on the type of product or service that you are offering.

With the growth of the World Wide Web every business owner needs a Web presence. It is especially important for small businneses. Most people now belive that every legitamate business has its own website. If you don’t have a website, they may not think that your business is not on the up and up. One great advantage the Internet provides is that you have the same chance of having your website rank number one for any given search term the same as the largest corporations do. It all evaolves around natural or organic search. If you hire a top SEO expert and he gets you to the top of a search ranking, you can expect a great deal of traffic or visitors. It does not matter that some large corporation is the leader in that particular field. It’s just a simple matter of ranking in the search engines.

I blog about SEO and other pertinent topics and thoughts. In reality, I am a professional SEO consultant. I specialize in search engine optimization, SEO Web design and Internet website marketing. I have been very successful in my field after spending more than ten years studying and experimention with SEO. I had become disabled following an injury and found I wanted something other than TV watching in my life. That is how I became a tecky. At seventy years of age I probably am one of the oldest web nerds on the planet. I have been better than 80% successful in getting my clients first and second page rankings on the major search engines. I hope I can continue this new adventure for many years to come. Then hopefuly, I will turn my knowlege over to one of my five grandchildren. Time for bed.

It is very important for every business website to have search engine optimization. For a website to get near the top of the rankings for its business keywords, the only other means is to pay for sponsored listings which can be expensive depending on what kins of business your in. Organic or natural search listings will pay off in the long run although the immediate cost may be expensive.

I read all over the place about people calling themselves an SEO expert. I then look where there own website is found and see it nowhere near the first one or two pages of the search engines for common keyword searches. If they can’t get their own website to the top, how are they going to get anyone else to the front pages.

The difference between website marketing and the term search engine marketing is that with website marketing, you encompass all of the modalities in promotion and advertising to market your website. These include print media advertising, pay per click, article publishing, ads on other websites and directories, press releases and more.
Search engine marketing is a relatively new term that is used to denote primarily doing search engine optimization (SEO) to a website so that the search engines will be more likely to rank it higher in the various search engines.

Latest figures show Google still leads by fair amount getting 63% of the search market.Yahoo follows with about 20% and MSN almost 12%. If your website ranks high in Google there is a fair chance it will rank high in the others. I optimize my website for all three.
